About the Project
Turning faith statements into wearable visual culture.
Christian Merch Design was developed for Kustom Kreations as an exploration of how faith-based messaging can live within contemporary apparel design. The aim was to create pieces that felt spiritually grounded without feeling visually outdated — garments that could carry scripture, declaration, and identity in a way that felt bold and wearable.
The design direction sits at the intersection of faith, fashion, typography, and youth culture. Each concept was built around a biblical verse, symbolic theme, or declaration, with careful attention given to hierarchy, scale, contrast, and how the message would read on an actual garment.
Rather than treating the artwork as simple print placement, I approached each piece as a small visual identity. The goal was to shape how the message is seen, felt, and carried — using type and composition to make each design feel intentional, expressive, and clear from a distance.
The wider creative intention was to reimagine Christian merchandise through a more youth-driven, streetwear-influenced lens. The final direction positions the apparel as both personal expression and public declaration, showing how design can make faith-based communication feel current, confident, and culturally aware.
Project Thesis
Faith-based apparel should feel like both conviction and culture — something people can believe, wear, and recognise instantly.
