Motion Project

Green Print

A Vox-style inspired video report for the Mangena Maake Mokone Memorial Conference YPD — shaped through voiceover, editing rhythm, montage, pacing, and a central metaphor that turns a formal report into a cinematic story.

A report transformed through voiceover, pacing, and motion storytelling.

The video uses a report as source material, but the project itself is the motion treatment: how narration, sequencing, visuals, and rhythm help the audience understand why the year mattered.

Runtime: 04:14 Format: Video report

Green Print is a motion project where the main design challenge was not the report itself, but how to translate a written annual report into a video people would actually follow, feel, and remember.

The source material covered a full year of Mangena Maake Mokone Memorial Conference YPD activities, but I treated those details as the foundation, not the centre of the project page. The creative task was to shape that information into a voiceover-led visual narrative with a clear beginning, development, reflection, and closing thought.

The video uses a Vox-style inspired report structure: narration carries the argument, visuals support the point, and the edit moves between context, montage, and meaning. The concept of a Green Print became the thread that tied the report together, reframing the year as something organic, faith-led, and built through movement rather than rigid planning.

My focus was on editing rhythm, voiceover delivery, sequencing, pacing, and emotional build. Instead of allowing the report to feel like a compressed list of events, the final video turns it into a reflective motion piece about growth, collaboration, resilience, and faith-led leadership.

The choices behind the video report.

Voiceover

The voiceover carries the project, giving the report rhythm, emotional direction, and a clear point of view.

Editing

The edit turns dense report material into a structured viewing experience with movement, contrast, and progression.

Concept

The Green Print metaphor gives the video a memorable hook, helping the report feel less like a list and more like a story.
